JOB Description: Social Mobilizer
About the role
Identifying the needs and priorities of the communities, developing and implementing a project to address those needs, and mobilizing resources and support to ensure the project’s success.
Your impactful goals will include
Community engagement: To engage with the community, build trust, and establish relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and other stakeholders.
Conducting assessments: Conducting surveys, assessments, and research to identify the needs and priorities of the community he/she works with.
Project planning and implementation: Once the needs of the community are identified, help to plan and implement project or initiatives to address those needs.
Resource mobilization: To mobilize resources, including funding, materials, and volunteers, to support the project they are implementing.
Advocacy and awareness-raising: To raise awareness about issues affecting the community and advocate for policy changes or reforms that can improve their situation.
Monitoring and evaluation: Monitoring the progress of the project they implement and evaluating their impact on the community.
Reporting and documentation: To maintain accurate records of the activities, including progress reports, budgets, and other documentation, to demonstrate the impact of his/her work.
