- PROJECT MANAGER
Currently, the Save the Children INGO Islamabad is on lookout for a Project Manager to join their team.
JOB Description: Project Manager
Programme Support:
- Lead on development and revision of project documents including work plans and reports.
- Lead on the development of internal and external reports as per donor requirements and SCI standards
- Monitor the progress of activities and achievements of implementation across two countries and identify the need for adjustments/revisions.
- Coordinate closely with awards/finance focal to ensure budget spending, donor compliance and tracking of partners spending and reporting.
- Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) for reporting including on-time reporting and quality of reports are met every quarter.
- Collaborate and coordinate with MEAL teams at both Pakistan and Afghanistan on planned project assessments including baseline and end line.
- Ensure that all external reports are aligned with program deliverables and commitment to donors in approved proposal documents.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of all project documents and reports on AMS and share point.
- Support AD – Balochistan in responding to queries and additional information requests from donor or colleagues.
- Support operations team in documenting program successes through case studies to share with Save the Children members and donors.
Coordination:
- Ensure coordination and information sharing between technical and operation teams of both country offices i.e Pakistan and Afghanistan along with Member Office.
- Regularly coordinate with MEAL teams to ensure verified data is shared in internal and external reports and other documents.
- Regularly coordinate with Advocacy, Campaign, Communication and Media teams for drafting and finalization of case studies, one pager and other external communication documents related to program operations.
- Facilitate the proper circulation of information on the program related issues.
- Visit Save the Children intervention areas to document/ verify project reports, support donor and external delegate visits where applicable.
- When required provide liaison support at national/provincial level meetings with different Government departments, NGOs/INGOS, UN and government agencies for ensuring good working relationship and timely facilitation for Save the Children interventions.
- Comply with and promote Save the Children policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
