- PROJECT OFFICER
Currently, the Islamic Relief International Haveli Kahuta is seeking a Project Officer employee.
JOB Description: Project Officer
Technical
• Implementation of project activities as per business process and project document
• Development of technical documents and tools for capacity building of Community based groups as per project design.
• Supporting the project team in the development of tools of for different surveys like KAP, KISOKs etc.
• Organizing meetings with local market stake holders to devise strategy of reintegration of women labour in market.
• Strong collaborations with Government relevant departments for smooth implementation of program such as social welfare, EPA, DDMA, livestock and agriculture, PHED and other service providers.
• Development of resource material for events & sessions.
• Development of IEC materials for the project activities
• Organizing Seminars in collaboration with the Government health department and vocational skills service providers, industries, higher education commission and Women development.
• To ensure sustainability, effective linkages will be built with free psychosocial services providers.

Operational
• Designing integrated work plans in collaboration with teams from other departments/thematic areas.
• Coordinate with internal (APC, livelihood specialist other sector leads at CO & area level) & external (Clusters, contractors, public health department, other organization’s representatives working in project areas, community activists, COs, VOs and beneficiary households) stakeholders related to project and other matters of mutual interest.
• In place contingency plan to deal with external factors affecting or may affect the field activities
• Ensure preparation & record management of project activities.
• Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and other progress reports for management’s info.
• Preparation of financial and narrative reporting for project donors.
• Ensure proper filling of forms & formats as per desired standard
• Extend support to MEAL / MIS / Communications staff for gathering desired information.
• Close coordination with line manager for effective implementation of project activities.
Organizational
• Ensure compliance with IR’s policies & procedures in true spirit for effective delivery of services to communities.
• In depth understanding of IR values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.
• Abide by the IR zero tolerance policy towards bribery & corruption through sensitization / empowerment of communities on coping mechanisms so that they can raise voice as & when feel inappropriate.
• Thorough knowledge of IR strategic priorities to ensure effective implementation with future sustainability.
• Assist in identification & documentation of organizational successes for showcasing IR work
• Facilitate communities in the adaptation of environment friendly & cost effective approaches to meet their current as well as future needs with specific attention to climate change.
• Focused efforts to be made for mainstreaming of marginalized groups i.e. Persons with disability and old age, minorities, Women & children etc. in consultation & implementation of project activities at ground.
• Strengthen mechanism to Influence the decision makers through communities to pay attention towards their core issues, give voice to suffering and the excluded, highlight the protection needs of people.
• Participation and facilitation in the implementation of IR seasonal programmes.
