PROJECT OFFICER

JOB Description: Project Officer
Support the coordination and implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the detailed implementation plan in line with CRS program quality principles and standards, donor requirements, and good practices.
Monitor and report any challenges and/or gaps identified to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules. Assist partners/community committees in their efforts to reflect on project experiences.
Support accountability through coordinating project evaluation activities and assisting partners/community groups in their efforts to collect and analyze project data per specified mechanisms and tools. Collaborate with local watershed management committee to prepare reports per established reporting schedule.
Collect information on staff capacity needs and technical assistance needs of partner organizations and monitor capacity building and technical support activities to ensure effective impact.
Complete project documentation for assigned activities. Assist with identifying information for case studies and reports on promising practices.
To ensure the accountability at every step of the project.
Lead efforts to identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with CRS’ programming. In collaboration with the Program and Operations staff, develop a risk register with strong mitigation measures that are regularly reviewed and updated over the course of the project.
Ensure timely and appropriate project expenditures in line with financial plans and efficient use and stewardship of project material sources. Work closely with Finance colleagues to develop and maintain strong tools for financial tracking and management.
Support the project Manager and team in overseeing the identification, assessment and strengthening of partnerships relevant to community-led development in project area and the appropriate application of partnership concepts, tools and approaches.
Liaise with community leaders and other sectors and agencies working locally
