Now, the Islamic Relief International Rawalpindi, Islamabad is looking for a Project Coordinator to work there.
JOB Description: Project Coordinator
- The Project Coordinator will be responsible for leading Women Aligned for Sustainable Youth-Cantered Livelihood Action (WASYLA) project in Rawalpindi and Islamabad Districts of Punjab Province, Pakistan.
- Developing programs and projects aligned with the Country Strategic Plan and area needs.
- Ensuring smooth financial management and adherence to donor agreements for planned project burn-rate.
- Designing and preparing concept notes/proposals for program interventions and seeking funding sources.
- Coordinating all aspects of the program, including technical support, supervision, and the development of operational, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting plans.
- Implementing the program in a consultative, participative, and gender-sensitive manner.
- Ensuring compliance with Islamic Relief Worldwide Quality Standards and international Codes of Conduct.
- Producing high-quality reports for submission to MEAL and country office within agreed deadlines.
- Providing support and guidance to the program team in planning, design, and implementation, considering the socio-cultural background of targeted communities and institutions.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs in Field Offices.
- Supporting the field and country team in implementing, monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating programs using IRW Policy and Procedures Manual and international standards.
- Leading the development of annual and regular reviews, annual and business plans.
- Representing and liaising with key stakeholders, including community leaders, local authorities, government, donors, and representatives of international and national NGOs.
- Collaborating with the Area Program Manager to diversify funding sources by building relationships with local donors and stakeholders.
- Strengthening relationships between IR partners, INGOs, UN, institutional donors, and relevant government departments.
- Ensuring regular and effective communications within the Area, Field, and the office.
- Participating in determining organization policies related to participant eligibility, program requirements, and project benefits.
- Facilitating seminars, conferences, and interviews for IR promotion purposes.
- Highlighting impact reports through case studies.
- Driving innovation in line with the project’s commitments.
- Provide support and guidance to programme team in areas of planning, design and implementation by ensuring that technical support is sensitive to socio-cultural background of targeted communities and institutions.
- Ensure that programmes are implemented, reviewed and evaluated in a consultative and participative manner through regular field visits.
- Performing any other official assignments given by the supervisor.
