MEDICAL DATA PROCESSING OFFICER
Currently, the MSF – France International Peshawar is seeking for Medical Data Processing Officer to fill their vacant position
JOB Description: Medical Data Processing Officer
General Objectives
To Carry out medical data collection and entry activities into the mission database recording all relevant clinical and demographic data on patients and ensuring data quality/reliability, according to MSF protocols and maintaining confidentiality while producing the appropriate, updated documents for the medical team to support decision-making processes.
General Accountabilities
Performing data entry of all epidemiological information into select database programs and creating appropriate reports, providing data for project development purposes.
Ensuring that all data entered has been authorized and that appropriate documentation has been received (patient records, treatment monitoring, etc.). Ensuring that all data entry processes occur in a timely and efficient manner
Specific Accountabilities
Ensure collection of the complete and correct CL( Cutaneous leishmaniasis) and CL CT(cutaneous leishmaniasis clinical trial) data on a daily and weekly basis from the CL departments and enter them in the specific CL and CL CT data tools make sure the data received is accurate and monitor all data-related reporting forms.
Produce data tables from the CL and CL CT data which supports the monthly reports including tables and graphs on request for progress and other reports, whenever required.
Keep the electronic database up to date, by scanning all the CL CT participants\\\\\\\\\\ data (Case report forms, Adverse Events forms, informed consent forms, etc), and upload them to the designated folders
Upload all photographs from all the CL CT participants in the designated folders and properly label them.
Make regular back-ups of all CL and CL CT data processed in collaboration with the IT in charge.
Elaborate statistical reports when required
Supports in proper storage of the medical pictures from the CL CT participants
Ensure, promote, and maintain confidentiality regarding all information registered at all times
