JOB Description: MIS and Reporting Officer
The MIS & Reporting Officer-HR is responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role ensures accurate employee data, supports HR operations through system-driven solutions, and provides analytical reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of HR data.
Generate reports and dashboards to support HR functions (e.g., headcount, turnover, leave, attendance, compliance).
Support HR team in automating manual processes through HRIS capabilities.
Ensure compliance with data protection policies and organizational standards.
Coordinate with payroll, recruitment, and performance management teams to ensure system integration.
Working under the supervision of the HR-Manager, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong data management systems, tools, and processes that comply with Organisation.
This includes usage of appropriate software-HRIS specifically Odoo & databases for accurate data record-keeping.
Essential to verify the accuracy and quality of the data. Additionally, the candidate will compile and disseminate data analysis reports to field staff, aggregate data using approved formats, and prepare precise plan versus actual comparison with Excel analysis.
Maintaining well-organized project files in both digital and physical formats for easy retrieval is also a key responsibility.
The candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of the HR-data management/information system to deliver timely and accurate analysis for the HR Data.
Support to project staff and senior management will involve generating primary data analyses that reveal critical insights.
Reports must be produced in standardized formats, ensuring data integrity. The role also includes summarizing and categorizing progress and monitoring data by various parameters such as area, sector, location, partners, project type, and donors to aid evidence-based decision-making.
Participation in verifying the accuracy of these interpretations will be required to assist management.
The candidate will also provide support with Data management tools as needed.
Compile and validate data from multiple sources (ERP, HRIS, CRM, etc.).
Additional tasks may be assigned by the Line Manager depending on organizational and dept needs.
