MEAL OFFICER
Currently, the Confidential Peshawar is looking to hire a MEAL Officer.
JOB Description: MEAL Officer
Prepare monthly Work Plan before each month and ensure submission of Monthly Progress Report against the same by the end of month to the line manager to track progress against the same.
Ensure availability of MEAL data, DHIS/NIS tools (including registers, obstract form, OPD slip, MRS,Tally sheet, HFs notice board, complain box etc.) and record of the same at district level and inform line manager beforehand regarding forthcoming requirements of MEAL material for timely arrangement.
Act as the databank regarding all the data at district level and develop database on need basis.
Cross check, triangulate, validate and consolidate all the MEAL related data including DHIS & NIS database submitted by the field teams to ensure authenticity, quality and accuracy in compliance with agreed upon processes / formats, set standards and timelines.
Ensure timely submission of consolidated/analyzed weekly/monthly DHIS & NIS reports on the pre-designed format from field/HFs/MEAL Assistants and submit consolidated weekly report on each Tuesday to the MEAL Coordinator for taking input from PM and concern Health Coordinators and onward submission to HO.
Update database of KPIs on monthly basis and share the same with line manager on monthly basis.
Carry out field monitoring, data validation and technical facilitation visits regarding MEAL to targeted HF on periodical basis and submit reports on the same to line manager focusing on what works, what does not work and what needed to be done for further improvement and course-correction.
With the support of MEAL Coordinator, the MEAL officer will ensure the implementation of beneficiary complaint and response mechanisms and make sense out of collected data on periodical basis to line manager for course-correction and informed decision making.
With the support of DHIS assistant, conduct monthly LQAS survey for assessing DHIS data quality/accuracy at each health facility
With support of DHIS assistant, conduct quarterly LQAS survey for assessing DHIS data quality/accuracy at each health facility.
Support the line manager in preparing quarterly LQAS survey reports.
Identify, collect and write Case studies, Success Stories, Lessons Learnt and best practices in line with the training provided and given guidelines and targets by line manager for the same.
Facilitate line manager in preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly narrative reports.
Give feedback to the health facility on weekly and monthly DHIS & NIS reports and ensure that progress charts are displayed in each health facility.
Conduct quarterly patient exit surveys at each health facility level and share consolidated data of the same to line manager for onward action.
In the consent of line manager, work as a focal point for repair and maintenance of official computers at MERF office Thatta.
Protect the security of health info/data and ensure confidentiality of the same is maintained.
Facilitate line manager in coordinating with DOH DHIS staff at districts level for all task related to DHIS/MEAL.
Provide supportive supervision and technical support to all field staff involved (including MEAL Assistant, clinical supervisor and DHIS focal person at HFs level) in data collection, management, quality assurance and data reporting.
Any other task assigned by the line manager.
This is an Emergency based project amd could be filled on an immediate and rolling basis.
