Vacant Positions: Field Engineer
FIELD ENGINEER
Currently, the Penny Appeal International Sajawal is looking to hire a Field Engineer.
Job Responsibilities: Field Engineer
Assist project engineer in collaborating with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of project construction materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
Develop Drawings, design and preparation of BoQs according of the project components.
Analyze infrastructural designs and BoQs proposed from community and Donor organizations and provide recommendations; Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors.
Supervises the process and progress of the project through periodic visits.
Facilitate the project engineer to compare the actual cost of the project with the estimates.
Assist the project engineer in analyzing equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
Prepares periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.
Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
Assist the project engineer in collaborating with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.
Facilitate the project engineer to supervise and support the technical team of the project.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the project engineer.
Review feedback received from the field and ensure its standard as per SOPs for submission to the project engineer.
