FINANCE OFFICER
Currently, the Penny Appeal InternationalSajawal is now looking for Finance Officer to join their organization / team.
Job Responsibilities: Finance Officer
Undertakes and completes the given assignments about accounting and bookkeeping timely, professionally, and qualitatively;
Assists Manager Finance & Accounts (F&A) in implementing financial and accounting policies and procedures;
Prepares all vouchers and ensures their desired completion;
Partakes in establishing and maintaining cash controls;
Participates in establishing, maintaining, and reconciling the general ledger;
Processes requests for advances and pursues timely adjustments and reconciliation;
Ensures obtaining and reconciling bank statements as per the timelines;
Processes suppliers/vendors’ invoices and ensures payments within the stipulated timelines;
Ensures transactions are timely and properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system;
Provides support to the projects staff for their advances and payments;
Assists annual audits;
Maintains and upkeeps the accounting software;
Pursues all receivables and reconciles them;
Compiles source documents;
Reconciles monthly deposits;
Preparation of WHT working every month;
Readily accepts and professionally performs when any other finance and accounts-related tasks are assigned by the management;
