Job Description: Community Outreach Worker
Support the development and implementation of a sustainable promotion program in the targeted communities and Health facilities:
Identify the areas of need for health promotion and education within targeted communities through contact with community representatives and assessment of knowledge and practices amongst clinic attendants.
Arranging training for Health Promotion and Communication skills at the level of all supported facilities
Conduct training of the community in health and hygiene promotion and the implementation of different techniques & activities in selected communities.
Liaise with community representatives and members for health work, if possible, encourage the formation of community groups for health promotion activities.
Promote utilization of services available at the nearby health facilities by monitoring.
