At the moment, the National NGO District – Tank is seeking to hire a Hygiene Promoter employee.
JOB Description: Hygiene Promoter
“As a Hygiene Promoter for the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program implemented by WASH National NGO in collaboration with UNOPS in District Tank, your primary responsibility is to drive effective community engagement initiatives aimed at improving access to quality education, particularly for girls at the lower secondary level, by addressing waterborne diseases through behavior modification in WASH practices.
- Develop and implement a robust hygiene promotion strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational and donor standards.
- Conduct Hygiene sessions as per the project.
- Conduct training sessions for community members, Teachers, and students to build their capacity to promote and adopt hygiene practices.
- Maintain thorough documentation and records of all project and organizational activities.
- Create and execute weekly and monthly work plans, and generate comprehensive reports accordingly.
- Assist the Project Manager in data collection activities as required.
- Maintain close coordination with the Project Manager to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Foster strong relationships with community members, local teachers (both male and female), religious leaders, and community leaders.
- Organize broad-based community meetings, facilitating target group identification and validation processes.
- Submit reports to the supervisor promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Capture quality pictures and maintain attendance lists of students and teachers participating in project events.
- Actively participate in knowledge exchange sessions with management and team members.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships within the team.
- Seek guidance from the Supervisor when encountering challenges in assigned tasks.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support program objectives.”
