FEDERAL LIAISON CONSULTANT
At the moment, the Pathfinder International Islamabad is seeking to hire a Federal Liaison Consultant employee.
JOB Description: Federal Liaison Consultant
Work with the Pathfinder team to develop a micro work plan/activity Gantt chart and initiate meetings with the relevant government Departments and partners.
Coordinating various activities and initiatives related to health, population planning, and statistics at the federal level. This involves ensuring that different departments and agencies are aligned in their efforts on FP, PPFP, and PAFP and that information and resources are shared effectively.
Facilitating the exchange of information and data between different departments and bridging potential interventions related to FP, PPFP, and PAFP. This includes sharing relevant research, statistics, reports, and updates to keep all stakeholders informed.
To ensure that the activities and initiatives at the federal level are in line with the overarching policies, FP 2030 framework, CCI recommendations, and strategies of the organization or program. Analyzing federal policies and regulations to assess their impact. Identifying opportunities and challenges and providing recommendations for adapting strategies accordingly.
Assist in the approval process for activities and projects that require federal-level authorization or funding in close consultation with Pathfinder Management and another consultant. This may involve preparing proposals, conducting briefings, and addressing any concerns or questions from federal authorities.
Ensure advocating for the organization’s goals and objectives within federal departments and agencies. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the federal government to garner support for initiatives related to FP, PPFP, and PAFP.
Maintaining detailed records of interactions, communications, and decisions made at the federal level. Generating reports for internal and external stakeholders to provide transparency and accountability.
Identifying potential sources of funding and resources at the federal level to support Pathfinder Objectives. This may involve applying for grants, advocating for budget allocations, and exploring partnership opportunities.
Ensuring that all activities and initiatives adhere to federal laws, regulations, and standards. This includes staying up to date with changes in legislation and advocating for necessary adjustments when required.
