Currently, the Strengthening Participatory Organization-SPO Ghotki is now looking for District Project Manager to join their organization / team.
JOB Description: District Project Manager
- To Develop detailed plans and strategies for project implementation in the assigned district, in line with the overall project objectives.
- Establishing and implementing a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track the progress of project activities, ensuring that they are on track and aligned with project goals.
- Managing the project budget at the district level, ensuring efficient utilization of funds and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, including local government officials, community leaders, NGOs, and partner organizations, to ensure effective coordination and collaboration in project implementation.
- Identifying capacity-building needs of local civil society organizations (CSOs) and local community structures (LCSs) in the nutrition sector and organizing training and capacity-building initiatives to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Preparing regular progress reports, documenting project activities, achievements, challenges, and lessons learned, and submitting them to the project management team.
- Ensuring the quality and effectiveness of project interventions, and implementing corrective measures when necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Advocating for the importance of nutrition in the region, raising awareness about the project’s objectives, and promoting community engagement.
- Providing guidance and support to the district-level project team, including staff and partner organizations, to facilitate smooth project implementation.
- Overseeing the collection, analysis, and management of data related to the project’s impact and outcomes.
- Identifying potential risks and challenges in project implementation and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Ensuring a participatory approach in project activities, involving local communities and stakeholders in decision-making processes.
- Ensuring compliance with project guidelines, donor requirements, and relevant regulations, while maintaining transparency and accountability in all project activities.
- Working on strategies to ensure the sustainability of project initiatives beyond the project’s timeline, fostering ownership at the local level.
- Undertakes any other task assigned by the supervisor.
