JOB Description: Dispenser

The post holder will undertake the appropriate level of training and is responsible for ensuring that they understand and work within the safeguarding policies of the organisation.

Ensure that patients are accurately registered and recorded for reporting and case management.
Adhere to administrative directives with regards to work schedules, record keeping, patient communications, re-stocking of essential drugs, consumables and other medical supplies
Dispensing medicines, maintaining stocks and daily tally sheets.
Update Bin cards on daily basis.
Maintain daily, weekly and monthly consumption record and share with relevant program
Provide health education and hygiene promotion to patients based on their diagnoses and co-morbidities such as diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention (such as need for vaccination etc.)
Work with program staff and health department staff (e.g. LHW/LHS/Vcinator/CHWs) to provide both moral and on-the-job training to build capacity and enhance their skills
Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure smooth implementation and integration of services
Any other official tasks assigned by the line manager.
