Vacant Positions: MEAL Officer
- MEAL OFFICER
The Save the Children INGO Quetta is currently seeking a MEAL Officer to full fill the vacant position.
Key Performance Areas: MEAL Officer
1. Monitoring:
- Develop, roll out, and manage monitoring plans per commitments of SCI.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits of project interventions by filling quality benchmark checklist, do necessary briefing with program team and finalize agreed action point.
- Also update QB tracker on online management information system for all visited sites.
- Facilitate MEAL Coordinator to coordinate with provincial program team and manage filled QB checklists and QB tracker in an organized way and take follow up for timely closure of QB action points.
- Facilitate MEAL coordinator to analyze quality benchmark tracker and action points for close out and improvement in project intervention at provincial level.
- Coordinate with partner’s MEAL focal points to ensure QB tracker and FRM database is maintained and shared to SCI provincial office MEAL team for all projects in the province.
- Support MEAL Coordinator in developing MEAL plan, and maintaining Indicators Performance Tracking for projects for progress measurement reporting.
- With support of direct supervisor, develop customized monitoring tools and checklists for different components of project.
- Facilitate, where required of the relevant staff in monitoring and evaluation/ research and documentation.
2. Evaluation:
- Support MEAL Coordinator to conduct and manage baseline, midline and endline evaluation and any research/assessment/post distribution monitoring as per the agreed protocols of SCI with close coordination with SCI CO team.
- Maintain data archive for all research, evaluation and assessment at provincial level with close coordination with CO team.
3. Accountability:
- Support establishment of accountability mechanisms specific to project and generic to organization.
- Support to implement and manage Accountability to Beneficiaries mechanisms using already established mechanisms of hotline, feedback form, SMS etc.
- Consolidate and manage feedback response mechanism tracker based on the feedback of beneficiaries and actions taken by the relevant authority with the guidance of MEAL Coordinator and MIS Manager at CO.
4. Learning:
- MEAL Officer Manage project learning documents repository for access of all program staff members at provincial level.
- Archive all lesson learnt, challenges and gaps identified during the project implementation.
- Any other tasks given by the line manager.
