- PROJECT OFFICERS
Now, the Civil Society Human and Institutional Development Programme (CHIP) Khanewal is looking for a Project Officers to work there.
Job Responsibilities: Project Officers
Raise Awareness:
- Create awareness among communities in all tehsils of district Khanewal about eye health and available services.
- Disseminate information about eye health services to the communities.
- Community Mobilization:
- Mobilize communities to avail eye health services at the district level.
- Establish self-help groups at the community level to engage vulnerable and marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities, in accessing eye health services.
Inclusive Health Services:
- Identify persons with disabilities and marginalized groups, including transgender individuals, to ensure their access to inclusive eye health services.
- Organize eye health camps, ensuring active participation of persons with disabilities and marginalized groups.
- Assist referred cataract and refractive error patients in visiting LRBT (Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust) for treatment.
Follow-up and Data Management:
- Ensure three follow-ups of patients through individual-based closed contacts.
- Compile and maintain comprehensive data on camps, patients, and project activities.
Beneficiary Support:
- Identify and document case studies of beneficiaries supported during the project.
- Assist persons with disabilities in obtaining disability cards and special CNICs, facilitating the process through social welfare and NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority).
- Identify persons with disabilities and provide them with necessary assistive devices.
Monitoring and Logistics:
- Monitor health facilities’ ongoing accessibility work in district Khanewal.
- Arrange logistics for all project activities.
- Financial Compliance and Coordination:
- Identify and coordinate with vendors, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Liaise and coordinate with district authorities and stakeholders for seamless project activities.
- Ensure the functioning of the district committee and coordinate its activities related to the project.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Submit regular field reports and data and activity-based means of verification on time, on a monthly basis.
- Prepare detailed activity reports and monthly reports.
- Develop work plans for project activities and submit them promptly.
