HYGIENE PROMOTER WASH

The PRCS Punjab Dera Ghazi Khan is now seeking for a Hygiene Promoter WASH.

Scope/Purpose of the Position: Hygiene Promoter WASH

The Hygiene Promoter WASH will play a critical role in the implementation of the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene(WASH)projectinresponsetothe2022flood.Thispositioniswithinwillinvolves working closely with the local community, stakeholders, and project team members tonsure effective hygiene promotion and behavior change interventions.

InthecontextoftheWASHintervention,safeguardandimprovethepublichealthoftheaffectedpopulationby:

promotingsafeHygienepractices,includingtheproperuseandmaintenanceofWASH/WASH infrastructure and services;
ensuringappropriatecommunityinvolvementinthedesignanddeliveryofessentialWASH/WASH services and infrastructure
ensuringthecoordinationandeffectiveintegrationofhygienepromotionactivities with the provision of water services.

Job Title: Hygiene Promoter WASH

Organization of training for HP volunteers.

Monitorandevaluatetheeffectivenessofhygienepromotionactivitiesandprovide regular progress reports.

Coordinatewiththeprojectteamtoensurethetimelyprocurementanddistributionof

hygiene kits and other relevant materials.

Conductregularfieldvisitstomonitortheimplementationofhygienepromotion

activities and provide on-site support and guidance as needed.

Facilitatetheformationandtrainingofcommunityhygienecommitteestopromote

community ownership and sustainability of hygiene practices.

Liaisewithrelevantstakeholders,includinggovernmentdepartments,NGOs,andcommunity-basedorganizations,toensurecoordinationandeffectiveimplementationof the project.

Any other duties assigned by the Management.
