Vacant Positions: Human Resources Officer
- HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Currently, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Islamabad is on lookout for a Human Resources Officer to join their team.
Main Responsibilities: ICRC Human Resources Officer
- Under the supervision of HR Manager, manage Staff recruitment and placement activities (including preparing job advertisements, pre-screening, assessment, interviews, selection, reference checks, offer management, ID card, contract management).
- Takes lead in arranging formal orientation plan for new recruits as part of onboarding (HR rules and regulations, applicable benefits, code of conduct, mandatory training. – Help facilitate staff integrating ICRC work environment.
- Focal point for Payroll administration, file management /Archiving, leave management, HR space Management, EOBI and Income Tax file
- Assist HR manager in reviewing position mapping/remapping, and salary increase requests (off cycle, Temporary step-up allowance etc)
- Monitoring staff Performance Management timelines including follow-up with manager and staff. Provides policy guidance and technical assistance, when required
- Ensures that staff-management policies are applied correctly.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with local labour laws and staff regulations.
- Focal point for check out /separation process including processing final end-of-service payment
- Assist in new employee integration including administrative procedures
- Depending on the HR structure in the place of assignment, may supervise local recruitment and training.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with local labor laws and staff regulations,
- Ensures that staff-management policies are applied correctly.
- Replaces HR Officer and HR Manager when needed.
- Any other task assigned by the Supervisor, as per operational requirement.
Main Requirements: ICRC Human Resources Officer
- University degree (Bachelor’s degree) in Preferably in HR, Management, Business Administration or Organizational Development.
- Minimum 3 years of overall professional experience in field of Human Resources.
- Experience using MS Office & HR information systems.
- Experience managing HR functions at operational level.
