The Program Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the AJK Quran, Citizenship, Leadership & Entrepreneurship Program within the Character Education Foundation. This role involves managing a large team, ensuring the smooth execution of program activities, and making a significant impact on students’ ethical, leadership, entrepreneurial development and training of Teachers and Adults. The Program Manager will play a key role in monitoring and evaluating program outcomes, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s mission and vision, and driving improvements in the quality of the educational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of 100+ personnel across multiple disciplines and functions.
- Provide clear guidance and direction, ensuring optimal team performance, engagement, and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and results-driven work environment.
Program Oversight & Execution:
- Oversee the effective implementation and delivery of Quran Education Training for teachers and learning effectivity of students in schools on the Quran, Citizenship, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship programs.
- Ensure that all program activities align with the Foundation’s mission and strategic goals.
- Ensure high-quality execution and timely completion of program objectives, projects, and events.
Project Management:
- Manage program timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Lead and coordinate project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure the achievement of key deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines for ongoing and new initiatives.
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of program content, teaching methodologies, and learning outcomes.
- Lead efforts in evaluating the impact of the programs through data analysis, student assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
- Ensure that programs meet desired educational outcomes, fostering leadership, citizenship, and entrepreneurship skills in alignment with Quranic teachings.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Foundation, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver regular reports, proposals, and presentations to senior management, partners, and funders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, governmental bodies, and community leaders.
- Utilize PR and communication strategies to advocate for and raise awareness of the Foundation’s initiatives.
Proposal & Report Writing:
- Write and review proposals for funding, partnerships, and project opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, budget reports, and impact assessments for stakeholders.
- Collect, analyze, and report on program data to measure effectiveness and progress toward goals.
Conflict Resolution & Problem-Solving:
- Identify potential program-related issues and proactively resolve conflicts and challenges.
- Mediate and negotiate solutions in complex or challenging situations, ensuring all parties’ concerns are addressed fairly and professionally.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving strategies to overcome barriers and enhance program delivery.
Business Acumen & Data Management:
- Demonstrate sound business judgment to ensure resource allocation is effective, efficient, and aligned with the Foundation’s goals.
- Use data management tools to track and monitor program performance, resources, and outcomes.
- Analyze data for decision-making, ensuring that programs are responsive to changing needs.
Ethics & Quranic Education:
- Ensure that all educational content integrates Islamic principles, with a focus on Quranic education, ethics, and character development.
- Foster an environment where students develop a deep understanding of Islamic teachings while enhancing their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
- Conduct training and professional development sessions for educators and staff on Quranic education and ethical principles.
Qualification:
- A degree in Business/ Social Sciences Preferably with Islamic Education.
- Strong background in Quranic education, character education, and leadership training.
• Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, particularly in educational settings, non-profits, or similar sector.
- Proven experience in managing large teams and cross-functional projects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate, guide, and build effective teams.
- Demonstrated success in writing proposals, reports, and other professional documents.
- Solid experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), particularly in education programs.
- Proficiency in data analysis, program evaluation, and impact assessment methodologies.
- Conflict resolution skills and a deep understanding of how to navigate complex challenges in educational and community-based settings.
