- PROJECT COORDINATOR SUPPORT
Currently, the MSF International Chaman is on the lookout for a Project Coordinator Support to join their team.
JOB Description: Project Coordinator Support
“Representing MSF externally together with the Project Coordinator (PC) or alone (when delegated) and negotiating on behalf of the project coordination in close cooperation with the PC and based on beforehand agreed messaging. Assisting in safeguarding and promoting MSF’s image externally
Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on key issues (security, risk, etc.) to the Project Coordinator and providing contextual information, through a sound knowledge of counterparts, parties, actors, authorities and military groups, in different administrations/parties and governorates/districts in order to improve understanding and decision-making processes. Maintaining the security database and providing a biweekly context analysis based on recent incidents and developments.
Preparing and conducting context, cultural and security briefings on the project context to new employees (national and international) in order to facilitate their integration and within the project environment. Ensuring regular security briefings/trainings of assessment team, drivers, and guards in consultation with the Project Coordinator.
Specific Responsibilities:
Representation, Communication & Positioning
• Support with applied safety & security management, including movement greenlights for inter-project movements
• Maintain in conjunction with the Project Coordinator networking relations with MoH and administrative employees/ officials
• Share all necessary IMS documents (NOCs, VISA, scanned passports copies) with the authorities on time
• Supports Project Coordinator in maintaining a complete and updated detailed list of all important and useful contacts (authorities, health officials, civil society, security contacts, other NGO’s etc.)
• Organize and join where necessary internal and external meetings and maintain the meeting logbook/minutes
• Support IMS as interpreter during internal/external meetings/activities.
• Follow the information diffused by the local media on a daily basis Security & Context Analysis
Reporting
• In close cooperation with Project Coordinator, and project staff: monitors developments and changes in local conditions, arrangements for provisions of medical care, security management and community relations to ensure that all events pertinent to the security and safety of staff in the performance of their medial work are carefully monitored and reported (incident log).
• Understand and follow security guidelines and contribute in analyzing security information and reporting back to project coordination
• Support drafting of monthly SitRep, weekly context update incident logbook.”
