JOB Description: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Assist the Project Manager in developing a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework and Plan for the WASH project.
Design and implement simple, well-defined monitoring tools and guidelines for tracking project indicators
Conduct beneficiary validations at the household level and compile findings in accordance with standard guidelines.
Develop data recording and reporting formats for project activities and assessments, including the design of an assessment database.
Prepare and submit case studies, human interest stories, and regular project reports.
Produce weekly, monthly, and progress reports to track project implementation and performance.
Analyse field activity data and compare against project targets, providing actionable insights.
Plan and conduct field monitoring visits and share detailed monitoring reports with relevant team members
Support and facilitate external monitoring missions and donor visits.
Collaborate with the program team in monthly and quarterly planning sessions.
Ensure all field-level reporting complies with donor reporting formats and timelines.
Perform any other official duties assigned by the Line Manager.
