The Qatar CharityKhanewal, Vehari is now seeking for a Data and Reporting Officer.
JOB Description: Data and Reporting Officer
”
Develop strong liaison with project related team, particularly with the District Manager and the M&E officer in the district office.
Support development and facilitate implementation of data and knowledge management tools for entire project. This will include leading the data collection as well.
Preparation of monthly/quarterly/half yearly/yearly reports of the project. This will include writing updates and collating data on daily basis and of smaller activities as well on regular basis.
To ensure the data punching in online MIS with donor desired protocols.
Lead in establishing effective monitoring, information, and reporting systems, and in the development of communication materials and strategies to promote beneficiary participation.
Support the District Manager in developing data collection tools and ensure that the validation rules are included during implementation to reduce data entry errors.
S/he is responsible to keep data in soft and hard form always updated, and whenever needed to share with doner and QC.
Regular compilation of district office’s progress information and generation of programme reports at country office level.
Work closely with M&E Officer and assist in monitoring of the activities wherever needed. This may include travelling to the field locations. Also deputing M&E officer whenever assigned by the District Manager.
Prepare reports on the areas where QC work can be carried out using specific tools for gathering data, prepare the evaluation phases and implement the recommendation.
Take up any additional tasks as assigned by the line manager or the Project manager.
o Technical skills
Must have strong report writing skills.
Understanding of reporting requirements of UNICEF.
Strong computer skills particularly in databases and reporting tools (word processing, spread sheets and databases).
Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex problems.
Ability to travel on short notices.
