Currently, the Muslim Aid International Mirpur Khas is seeking a Hub Coordinator employee.
JOB Description: Hub Coordinator
- Plan, organize, supervise, support, and monitor coordination activities in your assigned districts. Complete required documentation for assigned activities. Report on activity implementation status and any challenges and/or gaps identified to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules.
- As Hub Coordinator (General and Technical), you will manage SHRRP technical coordination activities within your hub and provide general coordination support within your assigned district. This will require working closely with engineers, reconstruction focal points, district and local government authorities and Partner Organizations (POs), and SHRRP team.
- Ensure compliance of SPHF construction guidelines in construction from other shelter sector partners working for pukka shelter construction in the areas covered under the designated hub.
- Bring technical field issues to the knowledge of provincial coordinator for further sharing with technical coordinators and technical working groups for devising solutions.
- Supervise Hub Information Management Officer assigned to your working area and work in collaboration with the SHRRP team to develop appropriate work plans.
- Coordinate information sharing, communication and dissemination mechanisms among POs, local authorities, and other recovery actors.
- Provide district government authorities with monthly information update packs and facilitate coordination between district government authorities and POs and amongst district government authorities.
- Organize, facilitate, and manage district and local level orientation sessions, workshops, coordination meetings, experience sharing sessions, and other events with all stakeholders at district level, and follow up as required.
- Actively facilitate gap filling and duplication avoidance in programming and provide appropriate advocacy and mediation between stakeholders at the district level.
- Ensure data collection at the district level as per required schedule and quality and monitor submission to national level team. Support data analysis and preparation of district products to illustrate data.
- Disseminate technical policies, guidelines, and standards to POs and facilitate orientation and training of POs staff as possible.
- Work with POs to identify and document emerging reconstruction issues (technical and other) and communicate to national team.
- Support accountability through coordinating project evaluation activities and assist with identifying information for case studies and reports on emerging issues and promising practices.
- Prepare and report MEAL data on a regular basis and follow up on MEAL policies and procedures.
- Facilitate in bridging information sharing between national and provincial shelter sector coordinators and SHRRP platform.
- When required IM related activities as required and facilitate information and data collection to support IM related templates and requirements. This also includes a collection of building typologies, case stories, preparing meeting agenda, writing minutes and any other shared works to ensure coordination activities at the assigned districts.
