JOB Description: MEAL Coordinator
The MEAL Coordinator is integral to advancing Qatar Charity\’s mission by developing and implementing comprehensive monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning strategies. This key role aims to increase the effectiveness and impact of Qatar Charity\’s humanitarian and development initiatives within the designated country.
Core Responsibilities
Policy Application and System Development:
Implement and enhance Qatar Charity\’s policies, systems, and tools for Monitoring and Evaluation, accountability, and learning.
Manage monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes for projects and programs.
Strategic Management and Oversight:
Monitoring and Evaluation, accountability, and learning processes.
Provide actionable insights to headquarters based on field data analysis.
Program Support and Capacity Building:
Develop Qatar Charity’s programs, ensuring continued organizational excellence.
Collaborate with staff, partner NGOs, and stakeholders.
Analyze data, compile reports, and share findings from surveys and assessments.
Update program monitoring frameworks and indicators.
Sectoral Intervention and Accountability:
Oversee new sectoral interventions and perform needs assessments.
Uphold accountability principles and manage compliance with organizational frameworks.
Learning and Development:
Promote a learning culture and reflection within the organization.
Organize and conduct studies, assessments, and learning initiatives.
Advise on and support the development of MEAL systems.
Mentor MEAL staff, supporting their development through recruitment, induction, and performance management.
