Currently, the Nai Zindagi NGO Quetta is seeking for Social Mobilizer to fill their vacant position
JOB Description: Social Mobilizer
- Paramedic will be responsible for antiseptic dressing (ASD)
- Equipments will be sterilized on daily basis before use.
- Identifying clients via registration number (Clients ID)
- Draw blood using sterilized needles and other equipments.
- Labeling samples correctly and sends them for testing.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working.
- Responsible for hygiene of medical desk
- Responsible for informing site manager in case new equipment is required
- Maintain and update register to record ASD material, medicines and HIV rapid testing kits under supervision of site manage
- Updating referral record when referring any client.
- Conduct counseling with clients regarding ART referral and Adherence Monitoring.
- Participate in day plan meetings held on daily basis.
- Submit daily activity report to manager at end of the day
- Provide care and support to PLHIVs (People living with HIV) and their families in collaboration with other team members and the management.
- Create and strengthen referral mechanisms for ARV/CD4/viral load and all health related services for PLHIVs.
- To create enabling environment and reduce HIV related stigma and discrimination toward PWID and their families, within the existing ART, PPTCT and public sector hospitals.
- Work in close collaboration with the designated team members to develop integrated continuum of care.
- Establish and maintain contact with concerned governmental and non-governmental organizations.
- Coordinate with the CoPc+ staff to ensure timely referral of HIV positive clients to the relevant services as and when required.
- Undertake regular performance review to ensure smooth implementation of social mobilization services and quality of care
- Assure that service provision complies with national guidelines and treatment protocols.
- Maintain a regular follow-up with the clients to ensure adherence to the HIV treatment
- Ensure quality of client monitoring data, utilization of available data, and timely submission of reports
