Vacant Positions: Social Organizer
SOCIAL ORGANIZER
Now, the Save the Children Jaffarabad want to hire a Social Organizer to full fill the vacant position.
JOB Description: Social Organizer
Develop strategy of community interaction and hold first dialogues & broad based community meetings within the targeted villages.
Establish, WASH management committees, and train them on O&M for water supply schemes/points at village level.
Ensure identification of sites closely with technical team in need of Water supply and sanitation.
Identify schools, communities, HCFs, TLCs with missing WASH Facilities, WASH repair & rehabilitation needs with close coordination with technical and project team.
Identify communities/villages with damaged WASH infrastructures, water points proposing new installation as per need & consultations with technical and project team.
Support Water Quality Testing in selected villages & ensure proper records in coordination with Water safety engineer.
Conduct Hygiene awareness sessions with communities, children and teachers for adoption of safe and healthy hygiene practices & ensure proper records
Facilitate organization of MHM sessions with Adolescent girls by identifying Safe places (as part of school sessions or in other community premises).
Facilitate & manage distribution of MHM Kits.
Conduct training of WMCs on hygiene education, safe sanitation, water quality management and disaster risk reduction.
Ensure Formation/strengthening of WASH clubs in schools and development of school improvement plan for improved WASH services including waste management, water conservation, tree plantation etc.
Support celebration of International WASH days in respective communities, schools and HCFs.
Plan & manage the distribution of WASH Supplies (Hygiene kits, Aqua tabs) in respective communities in close coordination with Hygiene promotion officer and project team.
Establish feedback mechanisms in communities for community feedback on quality/continuity of services, complaint redressal and reporting on GBV and SEA in close coordination with MEAL team.
