JOB Description: Community Mobilizer
The Community Mobilizer will assist the Project Officer- Community Outreach Mobilization (COM) for day-to-day implementation of project community mobilization activities using Girl Roster and Boy Matrix tools for selection of trainees both for formal and non-formal education for enrollment in Afghan schools at project locations
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist Project Officer COM for preparing the annual community mobilization plan for Catchment areas, keeping in view the needs of the community and by means acceptable to the community required for identification and selection of beneficiaries both for formal and non-formal education program.
Assist Project Officers for planning and implementing community-based activities of education and protection component.
Assist and support IRCH to identify 02 Pesh Imams each in 13 identified project community areas for training at IRCH.
Organize training of Pesh Imams at IRCH and supervise evening prayers Daris in each of 13 locations on Fridays.
Establishing a network of community leaders, members, groups and committees for increased attendance in evening prayers.
Assist Project Officer COM for arranging monthly awareness sessions both male and female.
Responsible to coordinate and develop partnerships with local CBOs and NGOs for improving community mobilization.
Assist Project Officer COM to organize the activities of World Refugee Day and 16 days activism activities both at school and community level.
Follow all SOPs on Safety and Security while conducting the activities in the assigned areas of catchment of Population Schools, mosques / community/ office)
Attend all refresher training sessions and meetings with other members of the project as required.
