SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST
Now, the Research and Development Solutions-RADS NGOIslamabad is looking for a Senior Research Analyst candidate.
JOB Description: Senior Research Analyst
1. Team and Stakeholder Management: Senior Research Analyst
Lead, manage, and supervise a team of analysts to ensure the successful execution of research analysis and projects. This requires high understanding of statistical and econometric models.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Present research findings and program updates to various audiences, including donors, partners, and senior management.
2. Program Design, Research, Data Visualization and Knowledge Dissemination:
Supervise and use statistical and econometrics models for better quality knowledge products for evidence-based policy making.
Participate in the design and development of programs in the fields of public health, women’s empowerment, and livelihood development among others.
Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and recommendations based on research and analysis.
Oversee field data collection, including the creation of field plans, monitoring field staff, questionnaire development and ensuring data quality, data cleaning and analysis.
Supervise implementation of interactive dashboards to effectively communicate research findings and program impact.
Good understanding about Utilizing tools such as Power BI
Write research papers for publication in international journals, showcasing the results of our research efforts.
Prepare reports for different programs and initiatives, sharing insights and recommendations with stakeholders.
3. Grant Proposal Development
Write grant proposals to secure funding for research projects and program initiatives.
Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify and pursue funding opportunities.
Make detailed budgets for different proposal for both national and international donors.
Job Qualifications
A master’s degree preferably in economics, public health, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in research-related activities and at least 2 years of experience in team management.
Experience in the field of public health is preferred but not compulsory.
Should have experience of making program budgets for both local and international donors.
Excellent proficiency in STATA software for statistical analysis.
Should have experience using SurveyCTO software.
Proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ideal candidate should be a team player.
·A minimum of 2 publications in international journals preferably in the field of public health.
